Formulated for silver, this is one of a series of three grey-greens, this being the darkest colour of the three. Used together on the same piece they are very useful for shading and are particularly lovely for winter scenes in my opinion.
This enamel is produced by Nihon Shippo. Colours with a 'G' prefix, such as this one, are specially formulated for silver. This colour is not reactive to silver so you can use it straight on silver without flux. Bonus!
The suggested firing for this colour is between 760°C-815°C (1400°F - 1500°F). The test strips in the photos were fired at around 790°C.
Supplied as 10g x 80 mesh powder in a reusable plastic pot.
