Formulated for silver, this is one of a series of three blue-purples, this being the middle colour of the three. The three used together on the same piece are very useful for shading, and if you're taking Merry-Lee Rae's Opal Wisteria Class you will definitely need this colour.
This enamel is produced by Nihon Shippo. Colours with a 'G' prefix, such as this one, are specially formulated for silver. This colour is not reactive to silver so you can use it straight on silver without flux. Bonus!
The suggested firing for this colour is between 760°C-815°C (1400°F - 1500°F). The test strips in the photos were fired at around 790°C.
Supplied as 10g x 80 mesh powder in a reusable plastic pot.

Please note that while we all wait to see if Ninomiya will restart enamel production, this colour is a very close match for Ninomiya 348 Opal Blue Purple.
